In Montenegro, IoT advancement is driven mainly by Bio-ICT centre of excellence [121] and is followed by University of Donja Gorica (UDG). The focus of their activities is on smart cities and smart agriculture. UDG has won one of the IOT-EPI open calls, and are now applying IOT technology to address problems with counterfeiting in wine-making industry. Public administrations, particularly on the coast, are keen on investing in services enhancing tourism.
